Cafe Lynn Restaurant & Catering has a casual atmosphere with fine dining appeal. We serve classic French country style-New Orleans cuisine including fresh, local seafood, steaks, salads, and poultry. Our menu and daily specials always include a fresh fish – usually redfish, speckled trout or red snapper; as well as jumbo Gulf shrimp, fried Gulf oysters, lump crab cakes, veal scallopini, paneed rabbit, pan seared quail, and filet mignon au poivre. While we do have some butter and cream sauces, the real heart and soul of Chef Joey’s cooking is highlighted with light and simple ingredients – chopped garlic, parsley, and olive oil. You won’t find any “trendy” fancy menu items…Cafe Lynn’s menu is classic, consistent, and solid french country-New Orleans traditional style.

With a full service bar and hand picked wine list, you should have an easy time pairing a great drink or glass of wine with your meal. Staff is friendly and upbeat, always welcoming and warm – treating each as they were a guest in their very own home. This is the goal of Cafe Lynn – to serve each guest with a smile and make each meal memorable and a consistently positive experience.

Meet Chef Joey Najolia

Chef Owner Joey Najolia is a Slidell, Louisiana native and Delgado Culinary graduate who was classically trained in France while mentor Chris Kerageorgio supervised his journey. After his stagier experiences in both Orleans and Pardou, France, Joey then worked under Chef Jonathan Wright at The Windsor Court Grill Room. Following Hurricane Katrina’s aftermath, Joey then went back to La Provence Restaurant as Executive Chef until 2007 when he opened Cafe Lynn Restaurant with his wife Brandi. Read More >
